Youth Committee Mission
To support the presence of youth at our gatherings by creating an environment that offers youth an engaging and welcoming container to be witnessed and blessed, bridges intergenerational gaps, and aids in their maturation and development of healthy masculinity.
Are you interested in bringing your son, grandson, nephew, etc. even though they’re under 18?
We aim to create a welcoming space that offers participants of a wide age range to explore -and experience- what healthy masculinity looks like. Youth between the ages of 14 and 18 are required to attend with their parent, legal guardian or appointed guardian*. Our experience is that youth in those age ranges can benefit from attending and also be able to relate to the themes and activities of a COMEGA weekend. We also recognize that it might be appropriate even for some youth under the age of 14 -with a higher level of maturity and interest- to attend a weekend. For those under the age of 14, we require the parent or legal guardian to reach out to us to discuss if attendance is appropriate on a case-by-case basis. Please note that any youth must be separately registered by their parent or guardian.

* An appointed guardian is an adult chosen by the Parent or Legal Guardian that will serve as the youth’s guardian/chaperone throughout the COMEGA weekend.
